This was a pattern practice. Very useful option for artists. It's making our life so much easier with achieving some artistic goals. Like and many other tools and options. The most important thing about it all is to know how to use all those tools and options.
Gradient mesh project. It was a very interesting work to do. Even though it was confusing a bit about how that gradient actually work? Anyway, I tried to do my best I could with this project. In overall it was a fun work. I've been playing round with that gradient colors. Learning how they work. I was learning at what point I want to add another row of mesh and which direction it will go. Which color do I want to add and where. I should learn more about mesh tool.
Emoji. An extra credit assignment. A definitely fun work to work on. However, I didn't finished to work on the heart emoji. So, here's some work that has to be done yet. But the idea is clear and this work met the requirements.
A Symbol learning assignment. Everything in this picture are a symbol. I created an item first. Then turned it into a symbol and used a spray tool to multiply my items. Then I used a symbol shifter tool to move those symbols around. And for make those items with a different sizes I used a symbol sizer toll. That's make the items visual illusion of being at the different distance.
Blob Brash assignment. Such a fun work to do. Here I learned how to use a Blob Brash tool and how to do painting with the shape builder tool. And with the design I chose for the background I learned a knife tool.
This my book illustration project. And my first big work in Illustrator (AI). I choose this topic for my children book illustration because I very familiar with it. I grew up on tails about the Baba Yaga. And I loved to read them as well. So, which topic to pick up wasn't really a question for me. However, it wasn't very easy for me to create everything the way I wanted. And the biggest challenge I had with this project was to recreate it after the AI crashed and I didn't manually saved my work. I met there with some technical issues that's I couldn't solve fast enough, and I don't had anybody to help with that problem until after the due date for this project. So, I simply finished my work as soon as possible. Now I know for sure that have saved your work manually is a good thing to do. And not just relay to the automatic saves.
This is my final project. A Poster and a banner. With the karate theme I was inspired by our son that attending his karate class for second year now. So, I thought it's a good idea to make a poster for our son to encourage him more to continue to practicing karate and keep up his skills in this type of sport. This goal was achieved. Everything worked perfectly. I've got my project done and our son got his poster for his bedroom.
